Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings 7pm and the address is St James Church, Thurland Road, London SE16 4AA.
The nearest tube station is Bermondsey on the Jubilee Line.
We are a friendly women’s choir in the heart of south London and always on the lookout for new choir members. Sightreading isn’t a requirement but you need to be able to sing in tune.
Our repertoire is varied and there is something for everyone - rock, pop, opera, folk, blues, classical... the list is long and we usually work on, and perform SA & SSA arrangements.
South London Voices (formerly Bermondsey Voices) was founded by singer Kristina Nilsson in May 2012 and the choir has performed at countless events and places in London such as The Lord Mayor's Show, The Young Vic, St John's Waterloo, Bermondsey Carnival, Bermondsey Folk Music Festival, Bermondsey Street Festival and the Southbank Centre.
We also hold an annual Christmas Concert in our rehearsal venue St James Church.
